The Seidenader PI-B are economical and user friendly machines for the
inspection of particles in liquids. Both, moving and non-moving particles are detected with extremely high reliability. The PI-B uses light extinction or light scattering methods, depending on product and container type. Particles that are bigger than 50 u are detected reliable.
Cosmetic and functional defects like glass cracks, scratches, wrong stopper placement and bad crimping are detected by optional camera stations.
Glass particles, floating particles, fibers, fill level
Optional Inspection criteria:
Position and color of flip-off cap, color of crimp cap, missing stopper, dents and scratches in the crimp cap, seal crimp defects, scratches, cracks in sidewall and bottom, dirt, scalling quality
A prerequisite for reproducible inspection results is highly precise mechanical handling which can present objects to cameras and lights over the course of many years of production. To Seidenader, GMP conformity, good access and long maintenance intervals are equally important. An example for this is the Seidenader column concept. All product contact parts are mounted on columns above
a central machine platform, clearly separating the drive section of the machine from the product transport. Short line clearance and cleaning times and minimal cross contamina-tion risk are a result of this design.

A compact design allows off-line operation or the integration into existing production lines. All leading manufactures integrated Seidenader inspection machines in filling lines. |

Particle detection through image subtraction method. This technique requires less product agitation for reliable particle detection than most of the existing systems while maintaining reliable detection performance. Ideal for delicate biopharmaceuticals and viscous products: protein and products with long molecule chains |
